1 day Pak Ou Caves & Kuang Si Falls

At 8 A.M in the morning, you will be picked up from Luang Prabang center and depart for a scenic road trip to the famous Pak Ou Caves – a must-see attraction on the mighty Mekong River.

Upon arrival, board a local boat for a trip to the cave network. Set in a limestone cliff overlooking the Mekong River, these two famous caves are teemed with myriad Buddha images dating back thousands of years. Climb up some steps and marvel at a wide range of Buddha statues at different shapes and sizes.

After the caves visit, hop back on the van and proceed to Ban Xianghai village – famous for its local wine – Lao Lao. A traditional Lao lunch will be arranged here before we make our way to the majestic landscapes of Kuang Si Waterfalls. Set amidst in the lush jungle, the falls is an ideal place to explore and delve into the wild nature of Laos. On the way up to the falls, stop to visit the Bear Rescue Centre where you can learn about the Asian sun and moon bears and the protection program as well.

Upon arrival at the falls, enjoy your time with nature as you have plenty of opportunities to take awe-inspiring pictures, unwind with a refreshing swim or simply sit back under shady trees.

After a day of adventure and experience, take a comfortable transfer and head back to the hotel in Luang Prabang.
